Tips and historical sites along the way
Hevlín – a line of fortifications including log cabin MJ-S 16, built as defence against Nazi Germany. Located in the village square is the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
Laa an der Thaya – a thermal bath with an outdoor swimmingpool, the Laa Castle with a historical courtyard and medieval tower with a viewing platform.
Neudorf bei Staatz – a late Baroque church built in 1724.
Wildendürnbach – Galgenberg Hill – idyllic wine alley with 184 wine cellars forming rows at 3 elevations.
