Starting from Mikulov, international route 52 must be crossed using the pedestrian crossing within the shopping area or roundabout between filling stations – on arriving in Mikulov international route 52 must be crossed using the pedestrian crossing near the roundabout at Billa.

Good to know

Alongside the route between Březí and Mikulov is located Infantry Cabin MJ-S 29 “Slope” (Pěchotní srub „Svah” with an exhibition of the Czechoslovak People’s Army weaponry.

Tips and historical sites along the way

Dolní Dunajovice – wine village Church of St. Jiljí from the 16th century, decorated with frescoes and paintings by the artist Jan Stern in the 18th century. An eighteenth-century pillory and three statues of saints are of interest. The trail leads around the Dunajovice Hills (Velká Slunečná) and continues through vineyards and along wine cellars.

Dobré Pole – the Church of St. Cecilia, the chapel-shrine ‘Půl třetí’ (Half past two) and statues of St. Florian and St. John of Nepomuk.

Březí – water park with two pools, children’s paddling pool and water slides.
