Tips and historical sites along the way
Hlohovec – the trail leads alongside Nesyt Pond, the largest pond in Moravia, and further on around Slanisko near Nesyt (nature reserve).
Lednice – The Lednice-Valtice area has been registered in the UNESCO World Heritage since 1996. The trail runs past the statue group of The Three Graces and Nový Dvůr towards Lednice. Tours of the Chateau Lednice and the Chateau Park and Garden are available.
Mušlov – part of Mikulov. The Old Sandpit attracts interest due to its wide variety of fauna from the Baden locality – mainly molluscs, microfossils, sea urchin spines or fish teeth. The village of Mušlov served as women‘s prison in the past.
