Tips and historical sites along the way
Nové Mlýny reservoirs – enjoy swimming and water sports in the lagoons of the Mušov upper reservoir. Sand beaches, water slide, sports and workout grounds and attractions like yachting, windsurfing, kiting and wakeboarding.
Strachotín – a small wine village, the Church of St. Oldřich from the 13th century stands in the village square.
Dolní Věstonice – Archaeological exhibition in the Regional Museum Mikulov. At the edge of the village is an important geological locality – The Calendar of Ages – a place of many archaeological finds. The village is dominated by the ruins of Děvičky Castle.
