In Mikulov, international route 52 must be crossed using the pedestrian crossing near the roundabout at Billa.
Good to know
From the cross on the hill Kreuzberg you can enjoy a marvellous view of the village and the castle of the same name on the opposite hill, Schlossberg, and you can even sight Mikulov.

Tips and historical sites along the way
Ottenthal and Guttenbrunn – the remnants of a windmill rise over the village of Guttenbrunn.
Steinebrunn – the privately owned Fünfkirchen Chateau is occupied by its owners. Beyond Steinebrunn a zoo yard is operated where horseback rides are offered.
The Freedom Path – an educational trail between Mikulov – Sedlec with 13 panels presenting the sad stories of the victims of the Iron Curtain. It includes a memorial to the victims who perished in an attempt to cross the heavily guarded border before 1989.
