Starting from Mikulov, international route 52 must be crossed using the pedestrian crossing near the roundabout at Billa. At the Austrian Customs Office international route E 461 must be crossed.

Tips and historical sites along the way
Pottenhofen and Ottenthal – small villages in Austria, the trail continues through the country among the fields along the cycle path as far as the national border.
Portz Insel – historical brick bridge – built by Francis Cardinal Dietrichstein in the first half of the 17th century to connect the Insel Villa (later used as a hunting lodge) with mainland.
The Freedom Path – an educational trail between Mikulov – Sedlec with 13 information panels and the Gate to Freedom Memorial.
Galgenberg – 256 m high hill is situated about 1 km from the village of Wildendürnbach. There are 184 wine cellars here.
